Powdery Mildew

Overview

This test screens for the predominant organism responsible for powdery mildew on cannabis - Golovinomyces Cichoracearum. Powdery Mildew can rapidly grow out of control on plants, leading to decreased yield and potency. This organism can also make the plant more susceptible to other harmful plant pathogens, such as Hop Latent Viroid. Cultivators setting up a new facility or accepting cuts from outside sources can majorly benefit from this test. Catching the infestation before it becomes easily visible allows cultivators to address these potential risks before they become problematic.
